I was recently invited to submit work for the upcoming Northern Glass exhibition at The Platform Gallery in Clitheroe, and am very pleased to announce that some of my new work will be on show there from 17th May - 12th July 2008. This exhibition will mark the end of a sabbatical during which I have been busy working on other projects, and see the beginning of what promises to be a busy year of exhibitions, watch this space for confirmation of dates of other exhibitons.

Northern Glass is a selected showcase of the best contemporary glass being produced in the North of the UK, bringing together internationally recognised artists from the North East and Cumbria, across Yorkshire to Lancashire and down to Cheshire and Derbyshire.

The exhibition explores the different approaches to contemporary studio glass practice and the wealth of techniques employed in contemporary glass making.

This stunning selection of work will be brought together in the light, airy and contemporary exhibition space at the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe, the centre for contemporary craft in Lancashire, operated by Ribble Valley Borough Council. Most work will be for sale and the gallery operates the OWN ART purchasing scheme.
